@jbaty@social.lol Littlefedi/Mastodon migration sets up an alias for your 'old' account. So for example, I just received a message - 'jbaty@social.lol moved to a new account'.Not preciselt clear how this works so I put a message in my Mastodon Bio too.

MFA now enabled on my #LittleFedi instance. Still not sure email notifications are working though.

Now I find myself setting up msmtp on Ubuntu for email notifications. This is why I created the successful 'yakshaving' brand !

The load average and memory usage on the tiny cloud VM (1 CPU, 1GB) on my single #LittleFedi user instance.

The 'Catchup' feature in #LittleFedi is really great. Been away for the weekend ? Quickly catch up on the key, important content without having to wade through 2,574 messages.

@jack@social.baty.net Appreciate and understand your reticence but be assured that the automated migration works perfectly. You can really tell that #LittleFedi has been used (internally) for months under the covers. It is so polished and packed full of features from real-life experience and usage.

@jack@social.baty.net changed to a proper domain (and thought a clean install would be safer). I changed the install directory and configured systemd. The install takes 5 mins once you conquered it. I had no data in the sandpit I needed.

- Pocketing image rights for players
