Russell Brand found guilty of rape and sexual assault (x3). Enjoy your time in prison!
I understand and share the positive reaction to the US mid term election results. However I'm not entirely sure it will extend to foreign policy and curb Trump's war mongering.
Can any Americans reassure me?
@gramesy@vivaldi.net First half they were actually pretty good. I hope Carrick comes out and roundly criticises and blames Martinez. He's been shite all season. Get rid.
Celebrity Traitors S2E10
@evan@cosocial.ca Very disappointing finale.
- Throwing your pouch should always be conducted outside with a fire pit.
- Romesh should not have been allowed his James Blunt rant when he was merely saying 'play on' or 'stop'. This influenced the outcome as it so enraged Blunt.
- People tell me James Acaster is a hilarious comedian but he was so dull on this show.
- James Blunt comes up with cutting, witty one line put downs on Twitter but he's just an posh officer from Sandringham who wrote that infuriating song. Very opioniated but wrong 90% of the time.
- Romesh was amusing, honest, quite perceptive and deserved to jointly win.
KVM/QEMU has shrunk my 184GB VirtualBox disk image for an Oracle/APEX/EBS instance from 184GB to a mere 35GB. That is just staggering. I spent countless days on this admin task over the years to no avail on VirtualBox. Took one day on KVM/QEMU. Flipping marvellous. And yes, the VM still works. Which is nice.

@andyc @evan@cosocial.ca /me runs to look for cheap RyanAir flights to Dublin :-)
Celebrity Traitors UK S2E9
@evan@cosocial.ca Yes. While it's just a 'game show' and the celebrity spin-off is all for charity, I like the psychological elements.

@evan@cosocial.ca Crikey. That sounds like my dream night out. Have fun and a Guinness on me !
Celebrity Traitors UK S2E9
@andyc @evan@cosocial.ca You may already be aware but I can recommend watching 'Traitors Uncloaked' (short 30 min follow-up show) as this interviews banished/murdered folk. It's entertaining, particularly when they show them the real identities of the traitors.

@evan@cosocial.ca I love the fact that a Canadian is loving a UK reality game show. Enjoy the final episode tonight !

@evan@cosocial.ca What is the source for the 'panic attack'? I'm sorry but I'm a little more cynical. The traitors were going to win hands down. The Faithfulls identified all three traitors as 'most trusted'. I strongly suspect the producers exerted pressure on that one traitor to confess his sins to, at least, inject some interest and jeopardy into the final climatic episode.
This is an obnoxious post that needs reporting!
@dick_turpin@mastodon.org.uk It just keeps better and better. The import duties on gherkins and marmalade are being reduced so we can all save £28 a year.
@jac@404brain.boo I hear great things about FreshRSS and considered but PHP (even ignoring the recent panic) although Miniflux uses Postgres and SQLite is not an option.
Ratcliffe (INEOS) , Wilcox (DOF), Berrera (CEO), Vivell (Recruitment) are hardly likely to walk away or fall on their own swords but, for all their obvious faults, the Glazers are business men out to make money.
Does it never dawn on them that the so called 'football' people (not the manager) below them are simply not performing and should be replaced?
Love the fact that the KVM/QEMU equivalent of Guest Additions is called 'Spice' (name of a synthetic drug) which actually makes sense.
