@hl@social.lol Funny because that's a standing family joke in our house. Our son once cheekily remarked 'God - you only ever hoover when someone is coming round'. We made him hoover the entire house even when no-one was coming as a punishment.
@sylvia in that sense I'm lucky, my parents are pretty low maintenance, and I don't think they'd say anything. But I'd prefer it to appear a bit tidier.
